Truthfully, for much of the past two years, I didn’t expect to be writing another letter from the publisher again. Who would have expected that Antigua would bounce back?
Well, it has and it’s great to be back!
For Qué Pasa, that’s due to the support of our old and many new advertisers who make the magazine possible.
Anyway, enough reflection, let me introduce the highlights of Qué Pasa edition 137.
Let’s begin with a look back to March and April 2020 with an awe-inspiring photo retrospective by Ricky Lopez and Juan Salvador Galich on page 14.
Antigua has many outdoor places that are great for all the family, so check out “A Beer or Two in the Great Outdoors,” on page 20.
Qué Pasa’s first instalment of “Discover Antigua’s Galleries and Museums” begins on page 26. Especially impressive and unknown to me was The National Museum of Art of Guatemala (MUNAG) right on Central Park. The second stage of the museum opens later this year.
In every edition, we support and showcase one of Antigua’s non-profits. So, on page 80 learn about Tessa de Goede’s dream becoming a reality with the opening of the Tulipanes Hospital, Guatemala’s first cleft lip hospital for the poor.
Of course, Qué Pasa has always been the magazine for what’s going on in Antigua. So read on and discover some great new restaurants, bars, and shopping ideas.
