Association life

Asociación Vida is an organization whose mission is working hard for people in Guatemala and promoting good nutrition, health and inclusive education – especially people living in San Miguel Dueñas and its neighboring communities. Their program “Syndrome of Love”, aims to provide pre-primary and primary education to all children without conditions or limitations.

Its educational plan is divided into three stages. In the first one, called initial education, children develop their skills and their play system – improving their development and helping them with their education, family and social environments. The second stage is the curricular adaptation, in which children with special abilities and those who need reinforcement, are cared for with a special program of literacy and are taught the importance of learning and respecting peer differences.

The third stage is inclusion and reinforcement. At this level the education is personalized and children learn to socialize and individualize which prepares them for the future and teaches them how to lead an independent life with their special abilities.

In addition to its educational program, Asociación Vida supports the children with a nutritional plan which includes giving them lunches, daily supplies, vitamins and a complete dental health plan. All of this at no cost to the children or their families.

Asociación Vida also extends its assistance to the people of its community, with housing, food, medical days and training.

To support their programs, they depend on the help of private individuals or entities. If you want to collaborate, you can contact them.
